the energy

John: When I look at the freshgraduates in my company, it reminds me of the energy that I had when I just started. I wish I still have that.
Me: What is it about the energy?
John: Their motivation, their passion, their drive..
Yee: To climb the ladder?
John: Yeah.. Something like that.
Me: But you are already there.
*laughs*

I met up with John, my cousin during TBB Descendent's Big Gathering. I haven't met him for what.. 10 years?? he's a CFO of an MNC (that explains 'but you are already there').

Perhaps the challenge is not merely getting there. The challenge is keeping your passion, purpose and drive. The challenge is the ability to wake up every morning looking forward to work, looking forward to life.
